A big Hello to all you Deviants out there and thank you to everyone who has commented already. I feel very lucky to have had such a warm welcome and positive feedback so soon. I'm very new to this and still learning my way around so it's been very encouraging.
My biggest thank you to Digital Dreamers for helping Me take the plunge and casting My work out there for the world to see!
Thought I'd use my first journal entry to introduce myself!
I've been a Tattoo Artist for 10 years, which I Love! For Me there's no bigger compliment as an artist than for someone to want to wear your art on their skin forever. Tattooing has taught Me so much as an artist because its made Me learn about a diversity of styles as we have to cater for all tastes. Im very lucky, I have some great customers and get to do lots of the kind of work I like best.
Which brings Me to My Faerie Art!
I will post some pics of my Tattoos later (or see link below) but for now the reason I did this was to have somewhere to show my paintings and other bits and pieces that I like to have a go at!
The Faerie Paintings in my Gallery are Canvas prints of my original artwork (watercolour on board), which I then enhance by hand with various embellishments such as beads, leaves, flowers, feathers etc. And silk faerie wings which I also made myself.
The Faerie Wishing Trees are hand made using silver wire and decorated with various beads and embellishments, then mounted on a painted watercolour board background.
If anyone is interested in purchasing any of these or enquiring about commissions please visit my website: [link]
Well thats it for now, dont want you to get bored of me too soon! If your not bored yet and want to hear more please visit the link above!
Happy Artful Deviating Everyone!

Do you get any requests for tattoos on the edge of hands? The little finger side, if that makes sense!? I'm pondering on it but I wonder if it's quite tricky
Thank you for the watch and faves

An Angel's face is tricky to wear, constantly (Tori Amos Purple People)
Yes I get lots of requests for tattoos on the side of the hand, they can be quite tricky but that's not the problem. The problem is that the skin on the palm of the hand (which comes round onto that side) is not very good for holding the ink of the tattoo. What this means is there is a very high risk of it 'dropping out', which means that by the time it is healed bits (if not most) of it will be missing & not look the way you hoped it would. Please bare this in mind before getting it done, or perhaps move the design up a little & go along the side of your wrist instead!?!
Hope this helps!
